• $975 to improve the insulation value of a roof: attic, cathedral ceiling and flat roof;
  Factors taken into account in the calculation:
  
  • Insulation work must be done on at least 20% of the total roof area to be eligible for financial assistance.
  • If the roof is made up of more than one type of roof (example: attic, cathedral ceiling, flat roof), the amount will be prorated to each type and respective surface.

• $1,790* to improve the insulating value of a foundation: insulation of basement foundation walls and insulation and sealing of the end joists in the basement;

• $1,625* for foundations with a crawlspace: insulation of exterior walls and crawlspace end joists, and insulating 100% of the floor above the crawlspace;
  Factors taken into account in the calculation:
  
  • Insulation work must be done on at least 20% of the total area of the foundation walls (excluding common walls) to be eligible for financial assistance.
  • When there is a basement and a crawlspace, financial assistance is prorated to their respective area.
